When NeuraCore says an account is on hold or suspended
Two things can stop an avatar connecting, or stop NeuraCore altogether. Both are decisions made by a person, and both are undone the same way.
On hold: one avatar cannot connect
A red “On Hold” tag beside an avatar in Avatars → Start means that avatar may not connect. Its Connect button is greyed out, it is skipped when NeuraCore starts avatars automatically, and if it was already connected it is logged out at the next check.
Everything else keeps working, including your other avatars. If the avatar that is on hold is the one that owns the licence, every avatar sitting on that licence is on hold too, for as long as it lasts.
Suspended: NeuraCore stops
If an avatar NeuraCore checks has been suspended, NeuraCore disconnects everything, closes its windows, and shows a message asking you to contact support using the in-world HUD. There is one button on it, Quit. This is not a fault to diagnose: it is a decision, and support is where it is discussed.
Out of date: this version has been withdrawn
Occasionally a NeuraCore release is withdrawn, usually because a defect in it does real damage. A withdrawn release stops the same way, with a message asking you to update. Updating is the ordinary command for your computer; the download page explains it, and so does the topic on installing and updating.
Getting it lifted
Contact support through the in-world NeuraCore Support HUD. A hold and a suspension are both recorded with a reason, so whoever answers can see what was decided and why.
Nothing needs reinstalling. When a hold or a suspension is lifted, a running NeuraCore notices within about fifteen minutes and the restriction disappears on its own; your avatars are not reconnected for you, so start them when you are ready.
