When something does not work

The Errors tab answers "why did that not work" first; the checks below are for anything it does not cover.

Start at the Errors tab

Every action NeuraCore refused, dropped or gave up on is collected on the Errors tab of the avatar window, with what did not happen, why, and what to do about it. A teleport that did not take place, an instant message that was not relayed, an AI reply that never came: each leaves a row there rather than only a line in a log you have to be watching.

A problem that keeps happening is one row with a count, not a hundred rows, so the list stays readable. Filter it by area, and empty it with Clear when you have dealt with what is on it.

Quick checks

  • Confirm the correct avatar is Online.
  • Wait for inventory, profile or map information to finish loading.
  • Check Action Permissions if Python or AI was refused.
  • Read Execution History for the returned status.
  • For following across regions, confirm the leader allows friends to locate them on the map, and if they will not, NeuraCore asks them for a teleport instead, which they accept from their own viewer.

Recover movement

Use Stop Movement first. Reset Posture is for a stuck animation or deformation. Reset Avatar is the stronger full recovery and should be used when the ordinary posture reset did not help.
